SERU takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We would like to give you as precise an insight as possible into when we collect which data and how we use it.
Personal Information
Personal data are individual details about personal or factual circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person.
In the following we will inform you if and when data and personal data are collected from you.
When you visit the Website
When you visit our website www.seru.de, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to the server on our website. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. We do not completely collect or store your IP address of the requesting computer. A collection/storage takes place only in shortened and thus anonymous form, so that the IP address is no longer a personal data protection-related file.
The following information is recorded without your intervention and stored until it is automatically deleted:
- Date and time of access,
- Name and URL of the retrieved file,
- Website from which access is made,
- the browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer as well as the name of your access provider.
The above data will be processed by us for the following purposes:
- Ensuring a smooth connection of the website,
- Ensure comfortable use of our website,
- Evaluation of system security and stability
- and for other administrative purposes.
The legal basis for our data processing is Art. 6 Par. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Our legitimate interest follows from the purposes listed above for data collection.
Under no circumstances do we use the data collected for the purpose of drawing conclusions about you personally.
In addition, we use cookies and analysis services when you visit our website. You will find further explanations under "Cookies" and "Google Analytics" in our data protection declaration.
Data transmission
We use 256 bit SSL encryption technology. In this way, the information transmitted via our contact form is optimally protected.
Unauthorized third parties have at no time the possibility to read your data.
Use of the contact form
Your data and e-mails are stored on a local database and are optimally secured. The personal data collected by us for the use of the contact form will be deleted after your request has been processed, unless it is necessary for further processing.
Revoke or change the data

Please note that contact requests are always sent by e-mail. If you do not wish to receive e-mails, it is no longer possible to reply to a request.
Data disclosure
Your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties unless you have given your express consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a DSGVO or the disclosure pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO is necessary to assert, exercise or defend legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest worthy of protection in not disclosing your data.
This also applies in the event that a legal obligation exists for the transfer pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c DSGVO, as well as this is legally permissible and required under Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b DSGVO for the processing of contractual relationships with you.
Cookies
Cookies enable us to track different usage patterns for the above-mentioned purposes and to the appropriate extent. They should also enable optimized surfing on our website. These do no harm. They contain no viruses and do not allow us to spy on you. Our cookie is automatically deleted after the session is over. You can also set your Internet browser so that cookies cannot be stored on your end device or cookies that have already been stored are deleted.
The data processed by cookies is required for the aforementioned purposes in order to protect our legitimate interests and those of third parties pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
Google Analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service called Google Inc, which uses cookies to analyse your use of the website. We collect information about the operating system, browser, IP address, the website you have previously visited and the date and time of your visit to our website. Information generated by this text file about the use of our website is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored. Google Fonts
In order to present our contents correctly and graphically appealing across all browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries such as Google Web Fonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/) on this website. Google Web Fonts are transferred to your browser's cache to avoid multiple loading. If your browser does not support Google Web Fonts or does not allow accesss, content will be displayed in a default font.
Calling script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the library operator. In theory, it is possible - but currently also unclear whether and, if so, for what purposes - that operators of corresponding libraries collect data.

Google Maps
We use the component "Google Maps" from Google Inc. 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter "Google".
Each time you access the Google Maps component, Google sets a cookie to process user settings and data when you view the page that includes the Google Maps component. As a rule, this cookie is not deleted when you close your browser, but expires after a certain time, unless you delete it manually beforehand

No social media plugins from Facebook are used on our website. We maintain a companypage on the portal. There is no interaction between your browser and Facebook servers when you visit our website.
Instagram
No Instagram social media plug-ins are used on our website. We maintain a companypage on the portal. There is no interaction between your browser and Instagram's servers when you visit our website.
LinkedIn
No LinkedIn social media plugins are used on our website. We maintain a companypage on the portal. There is no interaction between your browser and LinkedIn's servers when you visit our website.
Xing
Xing social media plug-ins are not used on our website. We maintain a companypage on this portal. There is no interaction between your browser and Xing's servers when you visit our website.
Rights concerned
You have the right:
to request information about your personal data processed by us in accordance with Art. 15 DSGVO. In particular, you may request information about the purposes of processing, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data have been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, deletion, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right of appeal, the origin of your data, if these have not been collected by us, and the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information on their details;
